The Center works with organizations in the Allston-Brighton community that sponsor programs for the elderly. There are opportunities for volunteers to visit regularly one on one with an elder. Additionally, volunteers are needed to assist elderly residents in the Allston-Brighton community with yard work and/or shoveling snow throughout the fall, winter and spring. Starting in the fall of 2008, the Neighborhood Center will be partnering with Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly - Boston to match Boston Collge volunteers with elders through their program.
