The
Irish Institute at Boston College is pleased to have hosted the Tourism Policy
Program, held in Boston and Atlanta, September 14-28, 2002. While in the United
States, senior officials engaged in designing and implementing tourism policy
in Ireland and Northern Ireland attended graduate seminars and visit their American
counterparts. Areas of focus included the National Park Service, public-private
partnerships, and jurisdictional issues relating to tourism policy.
