Up to fourteen individuals (from Ireland and Northern Ireland) including environmental scientists and academics, representatives from relevant NGOs, representatives from the private sector and policymakers from local and national government will be selected to examine issues including watershed management and pollution (associated with flooding, industrial waste, urban development, or agricultural runoff) in addition to other environmental challenges. The programme will also explore how renewable energy and clean technologies might feature in both local and national public policy agendas.
