Summer Programs At BC - Ireland
Boston College-Ireland hosts various summer programmes each year, all arranged in concert with the Office of International Programs.
Boston College-Ireland supervises the recruitment of participants and follow-up tp programs offered by the Irish Institute at Boston College in/for Ireland and Northern Ireland. The programs, sponsored by US Department of State federal grants, are monitored by the US Department of State. The University's permanent base in Ireland remains a key attraction for this prestigious congressional appropriation, secured in large part because of the fact that BC maintains both a functioning office in, and long-term commitment to, Ireland.
Boston College-Ireland is pleased to offer office facilities to visiting faculty. The Dublin offices are also available to accommodate university departments seeking lecture/seminar space in Ireland. For BC alumni, living and working in Ireland, our BC-Ireland office serves as a point of contact for the wider University.
