The American Business Collaboration (ABC): The American Business Collaboration is a groundbreaking collaboration of leading U.S. companies (Champions) partnering to ensure that their employees have access to quality dependent care programs and services to help them manage their work and personal responsibilities. The basic principle guiding the ABC is the belief that companies can accomplish more by working together than by working alone. By improving dependent care issues to enhance work/life balance for employees, ABC Champions impact their corporate bottom line and experience measurable business results. During the first nine years, the goal of the ABC was to improve the quality and supply of dependent care programs in the United States. Recently, it has expanded its vision of collaboration to include new ways to support employees in the evolving workplace. |

Alliance for Work-Life Progress (AWLP):
Alliance for Work-Life Progress is a membership organization committed
to the development and advancement of the field of work-life effectiveness.
Founded in 1996, AWLP addresses work-life issues through publications,
forums and professional development strategies. AWLP strives both to improve
the professionalism of those working in the work-life arena, and to influence
better integration of work and family life. The mission of AWLP is to
provide premier professional membership services to individuals and organizations
that are focused on creating healthy work environments that value people
and support personal life and family issues. In November 2003, AWLP became
an affiliate organization of WorldatWork, the professional association
for compensation, benefits, and total rewards professionals. |

The Corporate Alliance to End Partner
Violance (CAEPV): The Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence
is a leading force in the fight against domestic violence and its effects
on the workplace. It is the only national organization of its kind founded
by business leaders and focused on the workplace. Since 1995, the Alliance
has brought together dozens of progressive companies who exchange information,
collaborate on projects, and use their influence to instigate change.
The Alliance offers extensive research, policy knowledge and issue expertise
to the business community, including training, program guidance, and crisis
consultation - with programs designed to make the workplace safe and to
prevent intimate partner violence from impacting the workplace. |

Corporate Voices for Working Families: Corporate Voices for Working Families is a non-partisan non-profit corporate membership organization created to bring the private sector voice into the public dialogue on issues affecting working families. Collectively their 50 partner companies employ more than 4 million individuals throughout all fifty states, with annual net revenues of $800 billion. Over "70%" of their partner companies are listed in the Fortune 500, and all share leadership positions in developing family support policies for their own workforces. This experience is the primary asset Corporate Voices brings to the ongoing dialogue with policy makers and other stakeholders. |
Sloan Employment Network for Informing Organizational Response (SENIOR Advisors): The SENIOR Advisors are workplace representatives who have recognized that the aging of America will have important implications for their businesses. These business leaders are also interested in exploring how the adoption, implementation, and utilization of different types of flexible work options impact both business effectiveness and the employment experiences of older workers. In collaboration with the Center on Aging & Work/Workplace Flexibility at Boston College, a research center supported by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, the SENIOR Advisors articulate business perspectives that ground the Center's research and publications. The SENIOR Advisors function as a peer-to-peer learning community on the issues of aging and work. |
