“Law and Religion: Philosophical and Historical Perspectives”
The Clough Center sponsored the participation of six members of its undergraduate Junior Fellows Program in a conference on “Law and Religion: Philosophical and Historical Perspectives,” at Princeton University in April 2009. The conference was organized by the Center for Religion and the Constitution at the Witherspoon Institute, and co-sponsored by the BC’s Clough Center, in conjunction with Princeton’s James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions and Tikvah Project on Jewish Thought.

“NATO at 60: The Future of the Free World”
The Clough Center sponsored the participation of two BC undergraduates in an international conference on “NATO at 60: The Future of the Free World” to be held in Cascais, Portugal in June 2009. The conference is sponsored by the Institute of Political Studies of the Catholic University of Portugal. Featured speakers will include Pierre Hassner, Zalmay Khalilzak, and Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission. The Boston College students will be joined by counterparts from Brown University, King’s College-London, and the National-Louis University of Poland.
