Advent Day of Prayer:
"God Beholding the World"

The Advent Day of Prayer was open to all those interested in a half day of silent prayer, faith sharing and reflection.

The Center for Ignatian Spirituality and the Jesuit Collaborative sponsored this retreat on Sunday, December 14, 2014.

The retreat took place at the McDavitt Center (Province Office, 85 School Street, Watertown, MA) from 10 AM to 2:30 PM.

Mass was offered at the close of the day.

Spiritual Exercises in Daily Life

The Center for Ignatian Spirituality at Boston College offered the Spiritual Exercises in Daily Life (19th Annotation) during the past academic year. The Center partnered with The Jesuit Collaborative.

Retreatants made a commitment to daily prayer, met with a spiritual director every other week, and met with a small community for faith sharing every other Wednesday.  Meetings took place on the Boston College Campus.

Lenten Retreat in Everyday Life

During the season of Lent, the Center for Ignatian Spirituality offered the Retreat in Everday Life,  a seven-week prayer experience that was an opportunity to pause, reflect, listen and respond to the voice of God as God speaks to one's heart.   Based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola, the Retreat was Christian in focus and open to people of all religious traditions. All Boston College faculty, staff and administrators were welcome to participate.

During the Retreat, each participant committed to spending time each day in prayer and to a weekly meeting on campus with a spiritual guide (at a mutually convenient time).
