THE Boisi Center PapersAfter hosting month-long seminars in 2002 and 2003 for Muslim scholars from seventeen different nations, we at the Boisi Center recognized a need for a short primer about religion in America that was introductory without being simplistic, focused without being myopic. The Boisi Center Papers on Religion in in the United States are intended to meet this need with four papers on religious pluralism, the separation of church and state, the basic principles of Christianity, and the different forms Christian religious practice take in this country. |
BooksFrom time to time the Boisi Center hosts major conferences whose papers are collected into a published volume. A 2001 conference yielded the book School Choice: The Moral Debate (Princeton University Press, 2003; Alan Wolfe, ed.); a 2007 conference will produce a book tentatively titled Gambling and the American Moral Landscape. |
