Submit

Submissions are being accepted for Spring 2011. The deadline for submissions is April 1st.

Submission policies:

Stylus accepts submissions of writing (fiction, nonfiction, poetry and essay) and of art of all kinds. All submissions are reviewed on condition of strict anonymity. At no point will your name be disclosed unless it is published in our magazine.

All text submissions may either be sent to bcstylus@gmail.com with "Stylus Submission" in the subject line, or turned in to our office in McElroy 129. If no editors are in the office at the time, please slip the submission(s) under the door.

For art submissions, a digital photo or scan of your work may be emailed to bcstylus@gmail.com or you may schedule a time (by emailing that same address) to meet an editor at the office and leave your work with us. Please note that any original work or slides submitted cannot be returned until after the issue has been published (usually the last month of each semester). Please include the medium of your work so it can be properly judged (for instance, taking a picture of your statue may result in you being judged as photographer, not as sculptor, unless you include the medium as "clay" or whatever it may be).

In the case of both text and art submissions, electronic submission is encouraged.
