Nativity Prep Field Day
The Boston College Men's Rugby Club sponsors an annual Nativity Prep Field Day at BC.
The entire BCRFC team is involved in the program, which includes a rugby clinic for Nativity Prep's students, a barbeque, and a scavenger hunt. This day offers the students from Nativity Prep a chance to see a beautiful college campus and an introduction to the sport of rugby. Members of the Rugby Team get the opportunity to hang out with some amazing young men, all the while living out the Jesuit motto of being "men for others."
Nativity Prep is a tuition-free Jesuit middle school located in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston that provides a quality Catholic education to young men of color in grades five (5) through eight (8), many of whom are first-generation Americans for whom English is not their first language. The school provides a rigorous academic program steeped in service and designed to encourage its students to achieve their fullest potential. Upon graduation from Nativity Prep, the school through the generosity of its many benefactors provides four years of financial support to its alumni for tuition at any private high school to which they gain admission.
