Food for Families

In the spirit of the Jesuit educational principles upon which the Men's' Rugby Club was founded, this coming season will see the introduction of a new community service initiative. Members of the BCRFC will work with the Food for Families project which provides groceries to needy families. Ruggers help unload the trucks, pack and deliver over 300 bags of groceries and take the opportunity to socialize with the children in the after school program at the Commonwealth Tenants Association. The project is run through the Boston College Neighborhood Center, an agency through which Boston College provides resources to the Allston-Brighton section of Boston.
