Conte d'Automne (Autumn Tale)
In
this film, director Eric Rohmer explores the romantic yearnings of middle-aged
men and women. With her children grown, wine-maker Magali finds her isolated
vineyard in the South of France
has become lonely and oppressive. Her best friend sets out to find her a
potential suitor while her
son's girlfriend also tries to provide her with a match.
