Maimonides Leaders Fellowship
(paid) Jewish Learning Opportunity

Dear returning and new BC Hillel members,
Welcome for the new year, this is your former Hillel president Will Markis speaking, and I just wanted to notify you of an amazing opportunity.  I did this program last semester and I *highly recommend it.  It is a great way to connect with your heritage as a Jew, to enrich your education beyond the typical college curriculum, and empower yourself as a leader amongst fellow Jews.  It is also a nice way to make a few extra dollars (500 worth) for the semester.  I can honestly say that the learning in this program is excellent, and the Shabbat experience is one-of-a-kind.   This is a chance to ask any question you ever had about Judaism/Jews!  I hope this will be of interest to some of you!

Please contact Sharon Kupferman (see below) of the Meor staff with any questions, and she can instruct you on anything about how to apply (just follow the link below), etc.  By all means if you have any questions for me having gone through the program myself, I would be glad to speak with you.  You can email me at markiswill@gmail.com    Wishing you the best year for 2007/2008. - Will
