April, 2006

Heightsmen:

Sorry for the lack of communication since November on this page ¡V I always thought I would be that president who made posts all the time ¡V but I guess I¡¦m just as big a bum as the rest of you.

For those of you who didn¡¦t know, our biggest moves this semester have been:

  • The acquisition of Ed¡¦s new Cleveland Favorite ¡V Tenor 2 Barrett Principe.  Barrett loves to have philosophical and theological debates.  And he wears funny hats.  And he¡¦s goofy.  Sounds like a Heightsmen.

  • An extremely successful Alumni Show.  Although our numbers weren¡¦t extremely high, great fun was had by all, and the younger guys truly relished the opportunity of meeting the Heightsmen alums that they hear about every practice.  Although EJ wasn¡¦t there, we still had Brent to make fun of.

  • An awesome new website.  I mean, look at this thing.  Great work by Jason Wu ¡¦09 on this all year long.  He¡¦s also that kid from Hong Kong who hopes to be driving on our roads legally soon.  I¡¦m scared too.

  • The attendance of a Sharps Alumni Show where I think half of our guys successfully avoided making out with Sharps.  (Life¡¦s small victories).

What we¡¦re looking forward to:

¡@

  • Our CAFÉ ¡V Wednesday, May 2 in Devlin 008.  8pm.

  • Arts Fest ¡V We¡¦ll be performing Thursday, April 26 at 2:45pm.

  • Senior Week.  Period.

We¡¦ll be having officer selections soon, and we¡¦ll be sure to let you know who the latest class of lazy bum officers will be.

As for we seniors, Kevin Wang, and myself, Dara Beirne.  We don¡¦t know what on earth we¡¦re doing next year, or where we'll be.  But we¡¦re really looking forward to Senior Week.

See you guys soon,

Dara
