Parking Restrictions This Weekend

Parking Restrictions This Weekend

Main Campus parking will be sharply restricted tomorrow and Saturday for Parents Weekend and the accompanying "Pops on the Heights" concert and BC-Navy football game at Alumni Stadium.

All vehicles must be moved from Main Campus by 11 p.m. tonight to make room for the arrival of as many as 2,000 cars early Friday morning. Autos remaining after the 11 p.m. deadline will be towed. Resident students may park on Newton Campus and take the shuttle bus service to Main Campus.

Tomorrow, a one-day ban on student parking will be imposed at the Beacon Garage to ensure space for the Pops concert. Employee parking will be allowed in the Beacon facility that day. Cars with commuter stickers will be allowed in the Commonwealth Garage and the Lower Campus surface lots. Valet parking will be available when capacity has been reached at the Commonwealth Garage and the Robsham lot.

All vehicles must be off the Chestnut Hill campus on Friday night, prior to the game at Alumni Stadium on Saturday. Violators will be towed.
