University President William P. Leahy, SJ, presented the award to Griffin at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Banquet Tuesday night.
A communication and psychology major, Griffin is a member of the Jenks Leadership Program and the International Assistant Program. She also has served as a mentor through the College Bound Program and as a tutor for the Options Through Education Program.
