Study Ranks Finance in Top 25

The Carroll School of Management's Finance Department has been ranked 21st in the nation in a recent evaluation of business school disciplines published by the Academy of Management Journal.

The ranking was based on a study from 1986-98 of the research and publication productivity of graduate business school faculty. The study, which examined numbers of faculty contributions to top tier business research journals, was conducted by faculty from leading business schools.

Other New England business schools in the top 100 ranking in finance included Harvard (No. 4), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (14), Dartmouth College (49) and Yale University (50).
