The Glaxo Wellcome Chemistry Scholars Award is given by the prominent pharmaceutical firm to exceptional young faculty in the fields of organic, medicinal, bioorganic or structural chemistry.
The honor is the latest for Miller, who since joining the faculty in 1996 has won a Cottrel Scholar Award and the College of Arts and Sciences' Distinguished Junior Faculty Member Award for his teaching and research on catalysts vital to the production of pharmaceuticals.
