BC Club Given High Marks

The Boston College Club has received the Gold Level Circle of Excellence Award from ClubCorp, parent company of the popular dining room and meeting place located in Boston's financial district.

The Dallas-based ClubCorp oversees more than 230 private business clubs, country clubs, sports clubs and golf resorts across the nation. ClubCorp instituted the Circle of Excellence awards this year to recognize outstanding performance by its member facilities and the two-year-old Boston College Club was the only business club to receive the organization's top honor.

"We are very proud to have received this award," said Boston College Club General Manager Jada Emery Meding. "It assures our members that the club environment is one of excellence: excellent food, atmosphere and ambience."

Meding explained that the Gold Level rating was based on eight areas of evaluation, including member satisfaction, balanced financial results and employee relations. "The award clearly shows our ability to excel as a united team," she said.
