The University recently filled administrative positions in the School of Nursing, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and College of Arts and Sciences.
SON Dean Barbara Hazard Munro announced earlier this month the appointment of Prof. Laurel Eisenhauer as associate dean of the school's graduate programs, following a national search. Eisenhauer, an SON faculty member since 1970 and an expert in pharmacology and nursing education, had served as acting associate dean.
She is an SON graduate and also holds a doctoral degree in higher education from Boston College, as well as a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
GA&S Dean and Associate Vice President for Research Michael Smyer announced last month that Elizabeth Chadwick has been appointed GA&S associate dean. Chadwick has held administrative and teaching posts at several colleges and universities, most recently Bowdoin College and the University of Chicago.
Also, A&S Dean Joseph Quinn announced that Barbara Viechnicki, who had served as assistant dean for administration at the Carroll School of Management since 1996, has accepted the same post in A&S. Prior to her arrival at CSOM, Viechnicki was the academic budget officer and assistant to the dean at Wellesley College.
