The ODSD representatives painted and beautified a home maintained by the Newton Wellesley Weston Committee for Community Living Inc. NWW, as the organization is known, offers a full spectrum of social work and recreational services for developmentally disabled people, including individual and group residential programs.
"This might seem like a small project, but it really translates into much-needed cost savings for NWW," said Nancy Slamin, the organization's executive director. "Getting that kind of help and generosity from the community is tremendously affirming. We appreciated the way Boston College has reached out to us."
