Beginning Oct. 10, the Center for Child, Family and Community Partnerships will sponsor a series of "Barat House Seminars" to provide a forum for faculty and community members to discuss issues central to outreach scholarship and child, family and community development. The seminars, which take place from 9-11 a.m. in Campion 139, also will be held Oct. 31, Nov. 21 and Dec. 12.
The center also is sponsoring monthly breakfast meetings from 8:30-10 a.m. in Campion 139 to focus on the development of grassroots initiatives, information sharing, internal networking and other initiatives that relate to its work. The meetings will take place Oct. 27, Nov. 17 and Dec. 8.
The Department of Human Resources will offer five day-long sessions in diversity awareness, enabling Boston College employees to discuss issues on multiculturalism and their relation to the University.
The sessions will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Oct. 15, Oct. 30 and Nov. 13, Dec. 9 and Dec. 18, in various campus locations.
