Law Alum Heads M.C.A.D.

Charles Walker, JD '78, was sworn in last month as the new chairman of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

Walker, who had been general counsel to the state's Department of Elder Affairs, said he was "honored and humbled" by the appointment. Acting Gov. Paul Cellucci, himself a Law School graduate, administered the oath of office to Walker.

"I would not have been here but for the BC Law School," said Walker, who thanked his entire Law School class.
