ROMERO SCHOLAR-University President William P. Leahy, SJ, presented the Archbishop Oscar A. Romero Scholarship to Marielys Divanne, a junior in the School of Education, on April 4. The scholarship is presented annually to a junior of Latino descent who best represents the values and ideals of Romero, who was murdered while celebrating Mass in San Salvador in 1980.
