Uncover Reveal delivers electronic versions of journals' table of contents and article citations directly to users' desktops through electronic mail. Faculty can register for the service on the World Wide Web at http://www.carl.org/uncover/. Boston College faculty may use the service immediately at no charge.
A user may create a list of up to 50 journal titles and Uncover will send each issue's table of contents to the user's e-mail account. Users can also compose up to 25 search strategies, which will locate any new article citations.
Articles ordered directly from the service cost $8.50 each, though they may be available for free in the Boston College Libraries or through interlibrary loan.
For further information, library administrators encourage faculty to make an appointment with library specialists and bibliographers who can assist in identifying journals within particular areas of interest. Their names and areas of expertise are available through the University Libraries' World Wide Web page at http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/ulib/ref/subspec.html.
