O'Neill's regular hours of operation through Friday, Aug. 2 are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays; and 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
From Aug. 3 to Sept. 2, O'Neill will be closed on Saturdays and open from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
It will be closed on Independence Day, July 4, open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 5, and closed on Labor Day, Sept. 2.
In addition, Bapst, Burns and the Law libraries, as well as the Educational Resource Center, are operating on summer schedules. Call them directly for more information.
The Social Work Library is closed as it undergoes extensive renovations and is expected to re-open in mid-August. An Information and Referral Center, operated by Social Work Library staff, was created to assist users during the renovations. Housed in McGuinn 117, it is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All materials needed to support Graduate School of Social Work summer courses are being housed in the O'Neill Library Reserves, but the remainder of the collection will be unavailable until the library reopens in August.
Members of the Boston College community are invited to participate in the second annual Greater Boston One-to-One Bike-a-Thon on Sunday, June 16.
The event raises funds for the One-to-One program, which promotes mentoring and economic self-sufficiency opportunities for at-risk youths in the Greater Boston Area.
Riders, who have the option of soliciting sponsors, are sought for the BC team. The event will begin at 9 a.m. at Artesani Park on Soldier's Field Road in Cambridge. The five-mile course runs along the Charles River and riders may circle it once, twice or three times.
