Note BeneThe Center for Retirement Research at Boston College has received $2.7 million in new funding - a record amount - from the US Social Security Administration (SSA) to support research and dissemination on retirement income issues. Since its inception in 1998, the Center has received $16.7 million from SSA.
Drucker Professor Alicia Munnell, the center's director, said the new SSA award "ensures that the center will enhance its role as a national leader on retirement policy issues," and that "the additional funding will allow us to expand our efforts to strengthen retirement security for all Americans." • |
