Retirees, 25-year employees to be honored May 30

Administrators, faculty and staff who have retired or marked 25 years of service to Boston College during the past year will be honored at a dinner given by University President William P. Leahy, SJ, on Tuesday, May 30.

Those administrators and staff members retiring this year are: Avelino Abreau, Jean Acheson, John Atteberry, Dennis Delorey, Jose DeMedeiros, Angelina DiPietro, Margaret Dowling, Salvatore Ferrara, Guy Gingola, Thomas Hurley, Rosalind Kaplan, Roberto Martinez, John McKiernan, John Moynihan, Leo Power, Michael Prinn, Susan Reagan, Joyce Saunders, Marian St. Onge, Carol Vera and Thomas Walsh.

Faculty retirees are: E. Joseph Billo, Andrew Bunie, Laurel Eisenhauer, Jeanne Guillemin, Loretta Higgins, Ronna Krozy, George Ladd, David Manwaring and Sharon Hamby O'Connor.

BC's 25-year administrators and staff are: Rose Apodiakos, Robert Bonanno, Patricia Bowes, Joseph Catanzaro, Thomas Diehl, Esther Duray, Michael Franks, Pedro Garcia, Samuel Goodwin, James Hamilton, John Havens, Rita Lavoie, Roger McMullin, Stephen Mitchell, Paul Olsen and John Romeo.

Faculty members marking 25 years are: John Cleary, David Deese, David McKenna, Richard Nielsen, Mark O'Connor, Rita Olivieri, Zygmunt Plater, William Richardson, SJ, Ned Rosen and Leon Williams.

In addition, administrator and faculty member Carol Hurd Green is simultaneously retiring and marking her 25th anniversary at BC.
