Annual Faculty Day Event Is May 8

Boston College will pay tribute to some of its outstanding professors at the annual Faculty Day Celebration, which will be held May 8 at the Heights Room in Corcoran Commons.

The event, sponsored by the Office of the Academic Vice President and Dean of Faculties, begins at noon with a luncheon, and will be followed by presentation of awards recognizing faculty achievements in teaching, research and service.

University President William P. Leahy, SJ, will present remarks at approximately 1 p.m., and there will be a period for responses and questions from the audience.
