Annual BC Veterans' Day Mass, Ceremony on Nov. 11

Members of the Boston College community are invited to attend the annual Veterans' Remembrance Mass and Ceremony to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in the Heights Room of the Lower Campus Dining Hall starting at 10 a.m.

The event will begin with a Mass celebrated by Alumni Association chaplain Rev. William C. McInnes, SJ.

Rev. Daniel Sweeney, SJ, a research fellow in Irish Studies at Boston College and a chaplain in the US Air Force Reserve, will be the event's featured speaker, addressing the new challenges and sacrifices facing the Armed Services. The event will also include a tribute to alumni who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces.

The Boston College Alumni Association, Army ROTC, the Office of Student Development and the Office of Human Services are sponsoring the Veterans' Day event.
