New IREPM Head Groome Speaks Tonight

Prof. Thomas Groome (Theology), whose books on Catholic education have drawn critical praise, will present his inaugural lecture as director of the Institute for Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry tonight at 7 p.m. in Gasson 100.

Groome's lecture, "What Makes Us Catholic," will reflect on some of the core convictions which give Catholicism its particular identity within Christian faith.

The event will be followed by a reception, both of which are free and open to the public.
