Dual Major Mirazimi Earns a Goldwater

Pasha Mirazimi '05 of South Weymouth, Mass., has been awarded a Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, which carries $7,500 a year and is considered the premier undergraduate award in the sciences.

Mirazimi is a dual major in chemistry and physics whose career aim is a doctorate in theoretical biophysics. His research under Assoc. Prof. Udayan Mohanty (Chemistry) also has won him an American Chemical Society (NEACS) Norris-Richards Summer Research Fellowship.
