BLOOM TIME - Spring is the season of choice for Andrew Armstrong '05, a blue-ribbon daffodil grower and the nation's youngest-ever daffodil judge. The Plano, Texas, native - who has won and competed in major flower shows in New England and Washington, DC - has planted 30 different types of daffodil, in yellow, white, pink, peach and orange, in the garden of the Jesuit residence at Bea House. What did he send his mother on Motherís Day? "I wish I could tell you daffodils,î he said. "The card I sent had a picture of flowers on it." (Photo by Suzanne Camarata)
