FinCon Ticket Parking Plans Announced

Tickets for the March 12 Boston College Finance Conference 2004 "Wealth and Work in the 21st Century," featuring Federal Reserve Chief Alan Greenspan, are now available for members of the BC Community. Faculty and staff can register via e-mail at FC04@bc.edu. Tickets will be mailed to faculty and staff within a few days of online registration.

Alumni and parents invited to attend will receive invitations in the mail.

Tickets are limited due to space and security constraints.

Additional and updated information is available on the Finance Conference Web site, http://www.bc.edu/fc04/.

The University also has announced traffic and parking plans to accommodate the large number of vehicles coming to campus on the day of the conference.

• Beginning at 11 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, the Beacon Street Garage and the roadway to the Conte Loop will be closed to all non-service vehicles. The Beacon Street Garage and gateway will reopen at 1 p.m., Friday, March 12.


• Parking on the Chestnut Hill Campus will be reserved for those vehicles with Boston College parking permits only. All persons with permitted vehicles must use the St. Ignatius Gate entrance for all Lower Campus parking including the Commonwealth Avenue Garage. All exiting vehicles must leave via the Edmonds Hall Gate onto St. Thomas More Drive only.


• Any vehicles without a Boston College parking permit must be removed from Lower Campus by 11 p.m. March 11. Those that remain on Lower Campus after that time through Friday will be towed at the owner's expense.


• The entrance between Walsh Hall and Edmonds Hall from St. Thomas More Drive will open for deliveries only.
