Open Forums on Planning Set for March 30, May 5.

Administrators and faculty will have an opportunity to offer questions and comments on the University's Assessment and Planning Initiative at two open forums this semester, the first on March 30 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Shea Room at Conte Forum.

Three members of the steering committee overseeing the planning effort will appear at the March 30 forum: Academic Vice President and Dean of Faculties John Neuhauser; Executive Vice President Patrick Keating; and Prof. James O'Toole (History), director of the assessment initiative, who will serve as moderator.

University President William P. Leahy, SJ, another steering committee member, will join Neuhauser, Keating and O'Toole at the second forum, which will be held on May 5 from 4:30-6 p.m. in McGuinn 121.

These forums are part of a wider public-outreach phase in the planning initiative, following a year of preparation and discussion involving members of the initiative steering committee, some 100 representatives from the Boston College community and a pair of consultants.

More information on the Assessment and Planning Initiative is available online.
