Globe's Grossfeld at BC April 7

Boston Globe photojournalist Stan Grossfeld will discuss his award-winning career at a lecture on April 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Merkert 127.

An associate editor at the Globe, Grossfeld won Pulitzer Prizes in the 1980s for his coverage of the war in Lebanon and the Ethiopian famine. His features on the plight of children in a fast-changing and impersonal world earned him a lifetime achievement award from the World Hunger Organization and accolades from UNICEF. He also has received honors from the Overseas Press Club, the National Press Photographers Association and the Robert F. Kennedy Family Foundation, among others.

Grossfeld's lecture is free and open to the public. For further information, contact the Communication Department at ext.2-4280.
