United Way and BC representatives, including campaign co-chairmen Assistant Director of Plant Services Gerard Boyle Jr. and Burns Librarian Robert O'Neill, formally launched the fund-raising effort with a meeting on Tuesday in Gasson 100.
Campaign materials and pledge cards are being distributed to all University employees and completed forms should be returned to the department representatives as soon as possible.
Drawings for raffle prizes will be held on a weekly basis for those participating in the annual campaign. Information on the progress of this year's drive and weekly raffle winners will be available via the BC United Way Web page.
