Mass for Jesuit Jubilarians Nov. 7

Two former college presidents are among the Jesuit jubilarians for whom a special Mass will be celebrated Nov. 7 at 4:45 p.m. in St. Mary's Chapel.

University Chancellor J. Donald Monan, SJ, president of Boston College from 1972 to 1996, joins Rev. Francis C. Mackin, SJ, and Rev. Francis J. Nicholson, SJ, in marking 60 years in the Society of Jesus.

The former president of John Carroll and Loyola Marymount universities, Rev. Thomas P. O'Malley, SJ, is marking 50 years in the order, with Rev. John P. McIntyre, SJ, Rev. John F. Mullin, SJ, and Rev. Edward M. O'Flaherty, SJ.

Marking anniversaries in the ordained priesthood are Rev. Thomas Fleming, SJ (60 years), and Rev. John F. Devane, SJ, and Rev. George L. Drury, SJ (50 years).
