Globalization Series Is Underway

The third annual Boston College Globalization and Inequality Series, a forum for faculty and students to explore key moral challenges of the new millennium, will continue on Tuesday, Nov. 12, with the panel discussion "African Resources and Global Trade Policy: Who Benefits?" The event will take place at 4:30 p.m. in Devlin 008.

Marc Mealy, a congressional adviser on African trade and development, will be joined on the panel by two representatives from Catholic Relief Services: Ismael Muvingi, coordinator for the CRS Africa Rising Campaign, and Geri Sicola, special assistant to the executive director.

The 2002-03 series began with an Oct. 15 talk by Oxfam America President Raymond Offenheiser. There will be six events in all this academic year, including an appearance next semester by Catholic Relief Services Executive Director Kenneth Hackett.
