Annual Philosophy Graduate Student Conference Set for April 4 and 5

The Philosophy Department will hold its fourth annual Graduate Student Conference on April 4 and 5, titled "Philosophy in the Classical Tradition."

Highlighting the conference will be a keynote address, "Platonic-Heideggerian Hermeneutics," by Stanley Rosen, the Borden Browne Parker Professor of Philosophy at Boston University, on April 5 at 5 p.m. in Gasson 305.

Graduate students from BC and colleges and universities across the country will present papers at a series of sessions to be held during the two-day event. Philosophers from Aristotle and Plato to Nietzsche and Heidegger will be among the subjects of discussion.
