King Scholarship Goes to Junior Studying Abroad

Roderick L. Carey, a Lynch School of Education junior who is studying in Ireland this semester, was chosen as the recipient of the 2003 Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Award. Roderick's award was accepted by his parents, Harmon and Claire, shown at the March 13 King Scholarship Banquet with University President William P. Leahy, SJ, and, at left, O'Neill Library Instructional Services Manager Kwasi Sarkodie-Mensah, co-organizer for the banquet. This year's banquet speaker was Rev.
