Boston Area Graduate History Symposium is This Saturday

The Seventh Boston Area Graduate History Symposium will be held tomorrow, March 29, at Higgins Hall. This interdisciplinary conference features new research from Boston College graduate students as well as young scholars from other institutions.

A series of panel presentations will take place from 9:30 a.m.-12:40 p.m., and following a lunch break, from 1:15-4:15 p.m. Among the topics covered will be "Foreign Policy from Fenians to Federalism," "Cultural Creation of Identity," "Creating Urban Spaces," "Anti-Soviet Resistance" and "Aspects of Boston Religion."

A reception will be held in Connolly House following the conference.
