The film recounts the triumphs of the North Korean national team, who became the first-ever Asian squad to make the World Cup quarterfinals despite being regarded as heavy underdogs. More than three decades later, a pair of British filmmakers interviewed the surviving players and chronicled they lives since they had returned to their country.
Released last year, the film has been on a nine-city tour of the United States since last month, co-organized by Prof. Ramsay Liem (Psychology).
Admission to the screening at BC is free. For more information on the project, see www.thegameoftheirlives.com.
