Graduate Student Wins Chemistry Award

Graduate Student Wins Chemistry Award

Haizheng Zhang, a doctoral student working in the lab of Prof. Paul Davidovits (Chemistry), won an American Chemical Society Division of Environmental Chemistry Award.

The award recognizes outstanding graduate students working toward degrees in environmental chemistry and is based on criteria such as research productivity, a brief discussion of future goals and a letter of recommendation from their faculty adviser.

Zhang, one of only 12 recipients of the award this year, will receive a one-year membership in the division.
