The appearance by Mulcahy, mother of a BC sophomore and a featured speaker at the Boston College Chief Executives Club meeting last spring, is sponsored by CGSOM's Graduate Women in Business group.
"Fortune Magazine ranks Anne Mulcahy No. 6 among the top 50 women executives in the nation," said event organizer Kathleen Joyce, a second-year MBA student. "We are really excited to have her speak to us.
"Xerox has gone through some difficult times recently," Joyce said. "She will be able to offer us some excellent insights into how she has been both a manager and leader in that particular business environment."
Joyce said that one of the main goals of the Graduate Women in Business group is to bring women in corporate leadership positions to meet with BC's female MBA and graduate finance students. The organization also sponsors a mentoring and academic support program for undergraduate students and supports student attendance at various professional workshops and seminars.
