Fifth 2001 Grad Earns Fulbright

Adam B. Fuss '01, a history major from Omaha, Neb., was awarded a Fulbright Grant to conduct archival research at Smolensk State Teachers' University in Russia.

The award, announced in May, brings to five the number of Fulbrights won by members of the Class of 2001.

Fuss wrote his senior thesis for Assoc. Prof. Roberta Manning (History) on the famine of 1932-33 in the Soviet Ukraine and will begin studies at Georgetown University this fall under a four-year National Defense Education Act Fellowship.
