Nat "King" Cole musical at Robsham

Robsham Theater will present a performance of "Unforgettable: The Nat 'King' Cole Story" on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m., sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Committee.

Written by Clarke Peters, "Unforgettable" offers a look at the life of renowned jazz pianist and singer Nat "King" Cole and features many of the songs for which he became famous, including "Mona Lisa," "Paper Moon" and the show's title.

Tickets are $10 for students, seniors and those with Boston College ID cards, $15 for all others.

Italian Studies to host Msgr. Verdon

The Italian Studies Program will sponsor a CD-ROM presentation, "The Cathedral of Florence and Its Piazza," by Msgr. Timothy Verdon on Monday, Sept. 24, at 8 p.m. in Higgins 300.
Msgr. Verdon is director of the Florence Archdiocesan Office for Catechesis Through Art and a consultant to the Vatican Commission for Cultural Patrimony of the Church.

Parents and "Pops" next weekend

Boston College's ninth annual "Pops on the Heights" event will take place on Friday, Sept. 28, kicking off Parents' Weekend at the University.

The sold-out "Pops" concert will feature performances by the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra as well as campus groups in Conte Forum.

Other weekend events include the BC-Army football game on Saturday in Alumni Stadium and, on Sunday, a special Parents' Weekend liturgy followed by brunch with University President William P. Leahy, SJ.
