Proceeds from the fund, initiated by the Undergraduate Government of Boston College, will be divided among the American Red Cross and the New York City Police and Firefighter Widow's and Children's Fund. Checks should be payable to the Boston College September 11th Fund and sent to Human Resources, More Hall 315.
UGBC will staff a table from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. today and tomorrow, Sept. 21, on the Campus Green to collect student donations, with a rain site in the lobby of McElroy Commons.
Those persons wishing to contribute directly to a relief organization and qualify for a tax deduction may log onto http://helping.org/ and contribute on-line to any of the several relief organizations listed. Victim assistance organizations are also listed on this site.
