Jesuit Community Honors Nine for Years of Service

Nine Boston College Jesuit priests were honored for a combined 420 years of service on Oct. 12 with a Mass in St. Mary's Chapel.

Reverends James Morgan, SJ, and William Richardson, SJ, celebrated the 60th anniversary of their entrance into the Society of Jesus. Observing their 50th year as Jesuits were reverends Robert Farrell, SJ, Raymond Helmick, SJ, Daniel Lusch, SJ, and William Meissner, SJ.

Rev. Francis Sullivan, SJ, celebrated his 50th anniversary in the priesthood and reverends Walter Conlan, SJ, and T. Frank Kennedy, SJ, their 25th years.

Following the Mass, at which Fr. Sullivan was principal celebrant, the nine attended a reception in St. Mary's with relatives, colleagues and friends.
