A native of Wellesley, Ms. Riley was a 1991 cum laude graduate of Georgetown University where she earned a bachelor's degree in nursing. While at Georgetown, Ms. Riley worked in several hospitals in the Washington DC, area. She entered the Boston College Law School in 1999.
During the summer of 2000, Ms. Riley worked at the Hale and Dorr Legal Services Foundation in Jamaica Plain. She also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Waukeela Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising money for summer camp scholarships for needy youth.
Ms. Riley is survived by her parents, Philip and Katherine Riley of Wellesley, and her brother, Philip, of New York City.
